You get standout quality with a standout drivetrain at Elite-tier, though the frame drops back to Balanced-tier. A complete Shimano DURACE drivetrain — no mixed parts, which usually means simpler spares and servicing. A short 988 mm wheelbase gives a bike that turns sharply. The price sits at the higher end when measured on component level alone. Geometry, fit and finish aren't part of that comparison.
