About the build
The widest gap in the build sits between the drivetrain (Elite) and the frame (Balanced). A complete Shimano DURACE drivetrain — no mixed parts, which usually means simpler spares and servicing. A short 988 mm wheelbase gives a bike that turns sharply. The price sits at the higher end when measured on component level alone. Geometry, fit and finish aren't part of that comparison.
